Coming Mar. 4 2011 from Paramount - and the new "Nick Movies"

Heres the first official full trailer, its the story of a chameleon with an identity crisis, caught in the desert.

Starring: Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Bill Nighy, Stephen Root, Ray Winstone, Beth Grant, Ned Beatty, Harry Dean Stanton, Alfred Molina. 

On first look: 

I think this animated feature looks to be more realistically shaded, using real world texture mapping and very realistic feathering algorythms. I have not seen this before in a CG "kids" film. All pixar, and dreamworks features over the past few years have had that, unmistakable "cartoony / AO rendered" feel. Due to the use of the Pixar renderman system no doubt. 

It will be interesting to see this as a final feature.
