Microsoft Street Slide

Give the video time, the true value and innovation is revealed 0:40

"Microsoft Research has unveiled a next-generation browsing interface for street-level imagery at the Siggraph computer graphics conference in Los Angeles.
Current systems such as Google Street View and Bing Maps Streetside enable users to virtually visit cities by navigating between immersive 360° panoramas, or bubbles.
Street Slide promises a seamless transition between the two types of imagery.
Instead of just moving from one 'bubble' of imagery to the next, as done in Street View and Streetside, the new technology stitches together multiple panoramas into one multi-perspective strip allowing users to scroll side-to-side through cities."
