Titanic (TV Series) - Spin VFX

Spin VFX delivered all the visual effects  for the ITV mini-series Titanic, released in March and April this year, it was created to mark the 100th anniversary of the disaster, and was coupled with a collection of other documentary programs aired at the same time.

"All rivets, portholes, mooring holes, doors and were created procedurally by Spin VFX. The total model was over four million polygons and textures were rendered in sub-layers using Renderman shaders. No displacement maps were used to model the hull of the ship... it's all hard modeled. Close attention was paid to details such as correct flags depending on the port, the time of day and where Titanic was headed." - Animation World Network.
