Live Comic System - Helga Deen by White Mouse

The White Mouse Publishing Company has been generating "live" semi animated iPad comics from original works to classics using their 40 plus strong artistic team and their Living comic App system.

I wonder, however whether there isn't market for developing a toolkit system for allowing other artists to create their own Live comics using the "API" of the living Comic System, this could lead to a greater variety of product available for people to enjoy, as well as providing a cheaper publication strategy for up-and-coming artists and story tellers.

Like a Squarespace for artists and comics.

INKLING BY WACOM

If this works like this says it works!

I have seen the concept work before at the Gadget show last year, using a real pen and specific paper, but I have not seen it work with any paper, it remains to be seen if this will work as well as described.

Here is a walk through from Wacom, using layers and deconstructive video players.

Revolights - Unique Bike lighting

Rarely have I come across a Kickstarter project I have wanted to back with no recompensive desire so much as when I saw this project!

I think this project is unique, functional and ultimately extremely beautiful.

"Revolights consist of 2 thin profile LED rings (white in front, red in back) that mount directly to each wheel rim (just below the brake calipers) using a series of rim specific clips. Power is supplied via a thin wire to the hub where a lightweight and slim, USB rechargable polymer lithium-ion battery is held in a special bracket. A small magnet is secured to the fork to provide speed and orientation information to the rings."

This design needs to move into production, and I wish the designers Ken, Adam, and Jim at revolights.com the best of luck in their project.
