ParaNorman - making of

I posted about the latest trailer for ParaNorman a while back, but now they have released a really interesting twist, between a "making-of" and another trailer, this video shows how the main character has been created from skeleton to outer shell, flowing seamlessly into another open trailer. Lovely and unique!

great work.

HANKOOK TIRE - ECO DRIVING by Alfred Imageworks

A really "cute"info - animation by Alfred Imageworks from South Korea. There has been a lot of work in this piece, and keen care for detail and fluidity shown throughout the story.

TRAILER - The Pirates! by Aardman

Could be fun, looks like Aardman are ramping up production. By my reckoning they have been working on two features at the same time. Arthur and Pirates. Looks fun though!

Chipotle - Back to the Start

Coldplay's haunting classic 'The Scientist' is performed by country music legend Willie Nelson for the soundtrack of the short film entitled, "Back to the Start." The film, by film-maker Johnny Kelly at Nexus in London, depicts the life of a farmer as he slowly turns his family farm into an industrial animal factory before seeing the errors of his ways and opting for a more sustainable future. Both the film and the soundtrack were commissioned by Chipotle to emphasize the importance of developing a sustainable food system. Although this looks CG complete, or at least in part, however its all been shot live! Stop Motion all the way.

They have made a making of video which is posted here - making of
